Questions about products
-
Do you also send product samples?Unfortunately, we do not provide samples.
-
Do the colours of the products in the online shop correspond to the original colours? The colours of the products in the online shop may differ slightly from the original colours of the products due to the colour display on calibrated and non-calibrated computer monitors.
-
Can there be deviations in the pattern of a carpet or step mat between the product images in the online shop and the original? As patterned made-to-measure carpets and patterned step mats are individual products, the pile design may vary slightly.
-
What are the dimensions of a product? You will find the respective measurements for a product in the product properties below the product description or the size selection. As many of our products are textile based, we allow for a 3% tolerance for both custom/bespoke and standard size products.
-
Which products do you offer made to measure? At FLODI you can order the following products made to measure: Floor mats, carpets, floor protection mats, rubber and workplace mats as well as artificial turf.
-
Do the dimensions of custom-made products, such as carpets and floor mats, correspond to the customer's measurements?Floor mats and carpets go through several production stages and are exposed to different temperatures. This can cause tensions and distortions, which may lead to slight deviations in the production of individual measurements. Before we send out custom-made products, the finished cut is measured again and must be within the tolerance range. If it is not, the carpet or mat will be reproduced.
-
Can you produce custom-made dirt-trapping mats?Yes, in addition to fixed sizes, you can also order our dirt-trapping mats as customised cuts. We also offer other custom-made doormats. For example, coir mats, aluminium doormats or rubber ring mats.
-
Do custom-made dirt-trapping mats have a surrounding rubber edge? Our custom-made dirt trapping mats do not have a circumferential rubber edge. This only runs along the long sides. However, our range also includes customised dust control mats, which can also be ordered with a circumferential rubber edge. Fixed sizes, on the other hand, always have a circumferential rubber edge.
-
Is the rubber edge included in the overall size of a dirt-trapping mat?Yes, the total size of a dirt-trapping mat corresponds to the total length and the total width, including the rubber edge.
-
Are the floor protection chair mats suitable for underfloor heating?Yes, without restrictions. Particularly our polycarbonate chair mats. Due to an improvement in the manufacturing process, our PVC chair mats are now also suitable for underfloor heating.
-
Which side (smooth or textured) of the floor protection mat is the top or bottom side? The floor protection mats have a "grained", not completely smooth top side. This "grained" structure prevents slipping on the mat. The underside of hard floor mats is smooth, while carpet floor protection mats have anchor studs on the bottom, which provide optimum grip on carpeted floors.
-
The ordered floor protection mat is not transparent as expected. Why?If you have ordered a transparent floor protection mat made of polycarbonate: Please ensure that the protective film from the underside of the mat has been removed. Once this film is removed, the mat will be completely transparent. An inexpensive and optimal alternative to the transparent polycarbonate floor mats are the semi-transparent floor protection mats made of polypropylene.
-
What are the advantages of stair mats?Stair mats protect your staircases from wear and tear and at the same time offer anti-slip protection while climbing stairs. With the use of stair mats, your stairs can retain their natural beauty. In addition, stair tread mats can be fitted quickly and easily by the user, saving both time and money. If necessary, individual mats can be replaced without great effort and replaced with a new colour or design. So there are no limits to your creative freedom.
