Garden Slope Mat - The Natural Erosion Control Blanket for Your Garden Projects

Consisting of 100% natural coconut fibres, our garden slope mat "Nature" protects from erosion and provides superior soil retention capacity. This ensures that your vegetation has sufficient support and the roots can grow stably in the soil, even if the planting area is sloped.

The mesh structure, woven at a distance of about 15mm, reduces the energy input from water and wind and thus counteracts the erosion of your subsoil. This ensures efficient erosion protection and allows your plants to grow steadily even under adverse conditions. Depending on the slope, our erosion control mat is available with a weight of 400 or 700 g/m² and in a length of up to 20 metres.

The service life of the coir mat is up to 36 months. It depends on the site conditions, the soil, water and climate conditions and the erosion risk on site.

Possible fields of application for erosion protection

In addition to its use as erosion protection for your own garden plants, the embankment mat is also suitable for public use in parks and other green spaces. Furthermore, the landscape mesh can be used for pond construction or for your individual DIY project. The mat is best laid on a prepared surface where the erosion control mat is fixed to the ground over the entire surface without any voids. This ensures optimal protection. Pieces laid together should have an excess of 10 to 20 cm. The end pieces can then be fixed either by digging them into the ground or by tightening them together.
